Easy at-home Halloween Costumes
November 3, 2020
Since Halloween is coming up and many of us are too lazy to go shopping for costumes this year, here are 5 simple and easy at-home costume ideas that will take you no time at all to create:
- Watermelon:
Just put on red clothes and some green duct tape for the button of your shirt. If you want to add more detail, you can cut out white/black circles from a piece of paper and tape them to your clothes to make them look like seeds,
- Mime:
Put on a striped shirt and plain black bottoms. If you want you can also add some white gloves, a beret, and some fun makeup.
- Ice Cream Sundae:
Put on any shirt that is the color of your favorite ice cream. Take colorful popsicle sticks (or color regular ones and tape/glue them onto your shirt to make them look like sprinkles. You can also use construction paper for this. Then take a white loofah or crumpled piece of white paper and place it on your head to look like whipped cream. Finally you can place a balloon or a light ball on top to look like a cherry on top.
- Spider:
Take 6 pieces black construction paper and roll them up. Fold each of them in the middle. Now, put on a black shirt and tape these “legs” to your shirt. You are now a 8-legged insect that scares many people. A good choice for Halloween, right?
- M&Ms:
Probably the simplest costume out of the ones given over here, all you have to do is put on a plain shirt in the color of your favorite colored M&M and tape a felt or paper “m” on to it. Quick and easy!
