Like all struggles that people are faced with, anxiety can be an added stressor on people’s lives. Anxiety can be caused by strained relations with other people, school, or other events that cause stress. Although it can feel helpless at some points there are ways to soothe yourself when in an anxious mood. Staying physically healthy is always beneficial when dealing with mental health issues, so keeping away from caffeine and other unhealthy options will be helpful. Writing is another way to soothe anxiety. Writing descriptions of feelings can be like letting out your frustrations. Reading is also beneficial when you’re feeling like this. Other relaxation techniques could be taking a bath or lighting candles that give off a calming effect. If you have your license you can drive looking for beautiful sites. When in mindsets like this it is important to remember you aren’t alone and that many people struggle with these things.
